532 & 530 E. Saint Catherine Street

Construction Update..and 536.

Things are coming along just fine. The contractor in charge of installing the sewer taps on both lots was slower than advertised. The temporary power has been installed on both 532 & 530. Excavation is complete on 532. Concrete footing is complete. The slab plumbing has been installed and inspected. By Monday The framing for 532 should be be underway.

and yes we are still working on closing on 536 E. Saint Catherine Street. Recap: original owner of the house passed away with no will, and under Kentucky law when a person dies without a will, the ownership of any real property they own passes 1/2 to their surviving spouse, and the other 1/2 to their surviving children...(very) long story short, we are still waiting to hear back from the last 5 of 22 heirs! The day we complete the transaction for 536 so we can demo the house, I'm having a hard shot of something fancy.
